Winter 2022 Youth Classes January 3rd- March 17th
Swan Lake Series
This Winter we will study the dramatic story, Swan Lake. During our youth classes Swan Lake will be our inspiration for Choreography, Music and Ballet History lessons. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Let’s dance safely! All staff is vaccinated against Covid 19
I will be taking preventative measures to ensure everyone’s safety, including:
- Taking temperatures of every student and staff before entering the studio
- All students and staff are required to wear well fitting masks that covers their mouth and nose. My preference is a 5 layer N95, K95, M95C mask like this M95c. Please no loose fitting cloth masks that slip down easily, and cloth masks get wet easily and are not as effective. . https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCS9N6B/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_2PY5ZC1FTWQ0H4537NPV
This mask fits tiny faces well

-Classes will be capped to adhere to current regulations. The same students will be in class weekly and the families health will be closely monitored.
-A weekly covid health screening questionnaire will be required from each family.
-entering and exit protocols, and more details will be sent out to the registered participants.
Refunds and rescheduling policy: Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic I cannot offer refunds for this class once it has begun. I will offer make-up classes for any missed classes due to covid related cancellations. If possible the priority will be to have the make up classes in-person, Zoom will be our back up class option. Refunds can only be offered 1 week prior to the series start date. There is a slight chance we will have to reschedule a class due to Village ballroom events. A make up class will be offered with ample notice.
Class expectations
To maintain an uninterrupted and creative learning environment we ask that students and parents adhere to the following guidelines:
Arrive to class on time ready to dance in class attire and secure hair.
Remain in class for the full duration of minute class without a parent/guardian.
Able to follow simple instructions, listen to and apply direction.
Use the restroom independently
Class Observation
After many years of teaching experience, I find it is best for students if their parents are not watching class. Their focus and creative freedom improves in a quiet setting comprised of only the students and the teacher. Parents may observe or assist their child during class in special circumstances only and with prior teacher approval. We welcome the parents to observe during scheduled class demonstrations.
